How do I know whether I need custom software or an off-the-shelf tool?
Start with off-the-shelf — it is cheaper and faster, and most businesses should use it. Custom becomes the right answer when you are maintaining significant workarounds, paying for several tools that half-overlap, or when the thing that makes your business good is the thing no tool supports. We will tell you on the scoping call if we think you should just buy something instead.What happens to my software if AIKoders disappears?
You own the code and the data, and it runs on infrastructure in your name. Everything is version-controlled and documented so another engineer can pick it up. That is a fair question to ask a two-person firm, and the answer should not be "trust us".How long before I see something working?
A single workflow automation usually ships in one to three weeks. A full custom platform runs two to four months, and you will see something running on your own data well before the end — we would rather find out in week three that we misread the brief than in month four.How much does custom software cost?
